As part of their ongoing efforts to stop people smoking within the hospital grounds, this London NHS Trust engaged us to apply large (1000mm diameter) ‘No Smoking’ roundels on the pavements around the site.
During a site visit, locations were decided upon by the client with input from ourselves regarding surface suitability.
With RAMS (Risk and Method Statements) in place, the crew assembled at 6pm one evening and started the task of cleaning, priming and then applying the Thermoplastic roundels with a blow torch to the various surfaces, working throughout the night and managing both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, the team were finished by 5am the following morning.
